What to do with kids in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno this weekend and over the next few weeks, from Library storytimes to the Children's Holiday Parade.
A lot of what happens in town is built for kids. The Library on Villa Ave posts storytimes for babies, ones and preschoolers most weeks; Oak Meadow Park has the Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad and, in December, the Holiday Night Train; NUMU opens free on its First Sundays with registration; and the Children's Holiday Parade walks N Santa Cruz Ave to Main St in early December.
The list below is the dated version: every upcoming event in the Kids category, plus any event whose organizer says families or kids are welcome. We don't infer that from a name, so a concert that never mentions kids stays off this page.

A perfect follow up to The Women (our Nov. selection), which brings to life the Vietnam War from an American perspective. Good to know
What is there to do with kids in Los Gatos this weekend?
The list on this page shows every kids' and family event in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno for the weekend and the weeks after, in date order. On a Sunday morning the farmers market on the Town Plaza is the dependable move, and the Los Gatos Creek Trail is paved and flat through downtown for a stroller walk.
How do you decide an event is family-friendly?
An event is listed here when it is in the Kids category or when the organizer's own listing says kids or families are welcome. We don't guess from a name, so some events your kids would enjoy only show on the full calendar.
Does the Library post its storytimes here?
Yes, the Los Gatos Library's calendar is one of the site's sources, so its storytimes and kids' and teen programs land on this page with their dates and ages as the Library lists them.
