Free events in Los Gatos

No ticket, no cover. Every event here is one the organizer lists as free.

A fair amount of Los Gatos costs nothing: the Sunday farmers market, Music in the Park and Jazz on the Plazz in summer, the 4th of July Symphony in the Park at Oak Meadow, and the Children's Holiday Parade in December.

One note on how this list works: an event only shows up here when the organizer states it's free. A listing with no price means unconfirmed, so check the event page before you go.

The Chamber teams up with the Los Gatos Farmers' Market for a Halloween morning in Town Plaza Park, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is face painting, balloon art, crafts, live music, and a costume contest and promenade with medals for the winners, for the whole family and the four-legged ones too. Pets stay in the park and are not allowed inside the Farmers' Market. No fee and no registration this year; donations to The Street Dog Coalition are encouraged.

Good to know

What are some free things to do in Los Gatos?

This page lists every upcoming Los Gatos and Monte Sereno event that the organizer lists as free. The standbys are the Sunday farmers market on the Town Plaza, NUMU's Free First Sunday (register ahead) and, in summer, Music in the Park and Jazz on the Plazz. The Los Gatos Creek Trail is free any day.

How do you know an event is free?

We only mark an event free when the organizer or source states it outright. Nothing on this page is guessed, and anything unclear stays off it.
