Burrell School Vineyards is a winery up on Summit Rd built around an old restored schoolhouse, which now doubles as an event space, with a porch looking out over the hillside. Dogs are welcome. I haven't made it up there yet, but my wife loves it.
Join us to taste and pick up the Fall Release of Sippers Club wines. The wines in the Fall package will be: 2024 Chardonnay “Teacher’s Pet” 2018 Barrel Reserve Blend “Valedictorian” 2024 Pinot Noir “Principal’s Choice” We’ll pair these, plus a selection of additional wines, with complimentary small bites. Location will be weather dependent.

The goal is simple: to help you slow down and notice the magic that is already around you, and, having spent nearly two decades immersed in the beauty of California’s Monterey Bay Area, Ana is perfectly suited for the task. Ana’s work strives to bring the feeling of being in nature into your everyday life, pieces that evoke the feeling of warm sunshine on your skin, the sight of an elegant pelican swooping over the sea, of playful waves lapping on an empty beach. The bright colors and dreamlike details are meantto inspire joy while coaxing your own memories, experiences, and imagination to the surface. Nature-themed art has the power to keep our connection to the environment present in our everyday lives. When we notice and appreciate the places and creatures around us, we become more invested in caring for them. Ana believes that art can nurture that connection—and that our small positive actions have a rippling effect into our communities and the world around us. Lisa plays guitar and sings, bringing a soft lovely vibe as she channels Joni Mitchell and other greats.
It’s that time again! Come up to the winery and join us for our popular, bi-annual Cellar Alumni Sale. Winemaker Dave has once again chosen a great selection of rare, aged wines. He’ll be pouring them in the Barrel Room from noon to 5:30pm Friday thru Sunday. Quantities are limited and orders are first-come, first-served, so arrive early! See you there!
